Ordering Essential
Where are we connecting?
24 Mbps typical evening speed on FTTP, HFC, FTTC, FTTB and FTTN.

How ordering works
Four steps, all on one page. Your price stays on screen the whole way, and nothing is charged until the last step. Already with us? Log in first to add a service.
Step 1: Check your address
We ask the network what your place can get: which plans, which ports on your nbn box are free, and whether it needs an upgrade first.
Step 2: Pick a plan
One monthly price each, including GST. If your place needs an nbn upgrade for a faster plan, you see the options and any charge here.
Step 3: Sign in or sign up
Your name, mobile, date of birth and a password. You need to be 18 or over. Ordering for a business? Add its name and ABN here too.
Step 4: Pay month one
We place your order the moment it’s paid, and you watch every step live. Your month starts the day you go live, not the day you order.
Good to know first
The fees, limits and fine print, before you need them. The full detail for each plan is in its critical information summary.
- Paying
- Month one goes on a debit or credit card when you order. After that the same card is charged monthly in advance, with no surcharge and no late fees. If you’d rather pay each bill by bank transfer, ask us.
- Moving from another provider
- If your place already has an nbn service, you can transfer it to us instead of starting a new one. You’ll need its AVC ID: it starts with “AVC” and it’s in your current provider’s app or on a recent bill.
- Your router
- Bring your own; we don’t supply one. On FTTP, HFC and FTTC, any router with an Ethernet WAN port that supports DHCP. On FTTN and FTTB, a VDSL2 modem-router that supports vectoring. No username or password to type in. Setting up your router
- nbn upgrade charges
- Some places need a new nbn connection box, or fibre run to the house, for the faster plans. Any charge is nbn’s, passed on at cost. You see it before you pay, and it goes on your next bill.
- Your IP addresses
- Every plan gets a native IPv6 /60. IPv4 is shared with other customers (CGNAT) unless you add a public address, $10 a month. You can add it while you order or any time after.
- No home phone
- It’s internet only: there’s no phone line or voice service, so it can’t call 000. Keep a mobile handy for emergencies.
